Female Victim Robbed At Knifepoint By Duo On Moped In Westchester Park: Suspects At Large

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a female victim of her phone at knifepoint at a park in Westchester.

The robbery happened at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, police said.

The incident happened on Friday, Jan. 12 around 1:10 p.m., when the victim called authorities and told them she had been robbed of her phone at knifepoint by two men riding on a moped at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary.

After the robbery, the moped allegedly drove south on the South County Trailway away from the park, O'Leary said.

Police then searched the area for the suspects but could not find them. County Police detectives are now continuing the search.
